Surfers Paradise, September 2026 — International developer SPG Land has revealed the resort-style amenity architecture that defines Paradiso Place, a $1.5 billion triple-tower development bringing integrated lifestyle precinct design to North Surfers Paradise just 100 metres from the beach.

The development spans 1.15 hectares from Surfers Paradise Boulevard through to Ferny Avenue, with contemporary residential architecture by renowned practices Rothelowman and Studio Carter shaping the vision for hundreds of residences across three towers and a retail and lifestyle precinct designed to respond to coastal living.

With construction currently underway and $100 million in sales confirmed, the project’s architectural approach centres on delivering a village environment that integrates wellness amenities, tropical landscaping and resort-style facilities within a pedestrian-friendly precinct designed for beachside living.

Paradiso Place will bring a new level of coastal living to North Surfers, with thoughtfully designed residences positioned to capture the Gold Coast’s iconic skyline and ocean outlooks.

Podium Pool and Tropical Landscaping Anchor Paradiso Place Amenity

The centrepiece of the development’s amenity architecture is a resort-style podium pool surrounded by tropical landscaping and spaces designed for relaxation and social connection.

The podium forms part of an extensive wellness and leisure offering that responds to the Gold Coast’s coastal lifestyle, with the architectural design integrating indoor-outdoor spaces positioned to capture ocean outlooks and the city’s skyline.

According to SPG Land Sales Director Brad McMahon, the amenity design reflects the project’s vision of creating an integrated village environment where residents can live, work, dine, socialise and unwind within a beachside setting.

“Paradiso Place is about creating a village where residents won’t even need to leave”

The tropical landscaping extends throughout the precinct, creating pedestrian-friendly spaces that connect the residential towers with the retail and dining arcade at ground level.

Grand Arrival Experience and Porte Cochère Design

The architectural response to the North Surfers location extends to the arrival experience, with a premium porte cochère designed to welcome residents and guests within a setting of lush landscaping and contemporary architecture.

The porte cochère forms part of the grand arrival sequence that establishes the development’s resort-style character from street level, integrating architectural elements with landscape design to create a transition between the surrounding precinct and the residential environment.

The design approach positions the development as what SPG Land describes as a preeminent five-star resort-style development offering luxury, well-designed village living complete with wellness amenities and a retail and dining precinct.

Level 16 Residents’ Lounge Integrates Ocean Views and Interior Design

Positioned on Level 16, the residents’ lounge combines sophisticated interior design with expansive ocean views, creating a refined space for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the coastal lifestyle.

The lounge forms part of the development’s layered amenity offering that extends vertically throughout the towers, with the elevated position capturing views across the Gold Coast and out to the Pacific Ocean beyond the beach located 100 metres from the site.

The Level 16 residents’ lounge combines sophisticated interior design with expansive ocean views, creating a refined space for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the coastal lifestyle.

The interior design approach responds to the coastal setting while providing residents with spaces designed for both social connection and private retreat, forming part of what Mr McMahon describes as a lifestyle-focused design direction.

“What’s stood out to us is just how many of these downsizers are local – people who’ve lived in the region for twenty, thirty years and aren’t looking to leave the area, just to live in it differently. It’s reinforced the concept we designed around from the outset: giving long-term locals a way to stay in the area they love, without compromising on lifestyle”

Retail Arcade Creates Village Atmosphere Through Pedestrian-Friendly Design

At ground level, a vibrant retail arcade has been designed to create a pedestrian-friendly village atmosphere, blending dining, retail and landscaped spaces at the heart of the masterplanned precinct.

The arcade connects the development’s residential towers with the surrounding North Surfers neighbourhood, creating activated street frontages along both Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Ferny Avenue on the full-block site.

Paradiso Place’s vibrant retail arcade is designed to create a pedestrian-friendly village atmosphere, blending dining, retail and landscaped spaces at the heart of the masterplanned precinct.

The architectural integration of retail, dining and landscape elements at ground level responds to the development’s village concept, where residents have access to amenities within the precinct while remaining connected to Surfers Paradise Beach and the surrounding coastal environment including Budds Beach, Macintosh Island, Main Beach, The Spit and the Southport Seaway.

SPG Land Marketing Director Stephen Wang said the location offers a lifestyle that combines the development’s integrated precinct design with proximity to the Gold Coast’s beachside assets.

“Buyers are drawn to more than just the address – it’s the combination of an unmatched lifestyle precinct and the certainty of seeing construction progress on-site. With SPG Built delivering the build, that confidence is well placed. Being just steps from Surfers Paradise Beach, with easy access to Budds Beach, Macintosh Island, Main Beach, The Spit and the Southport Seaway, this location offers a lifestyle that’s genuinely hard to match”

Rothelowman and Studio Carter Shape Contemporary Residential Architecture

The contemporary residential architecture for the triple-tower development has been shaped by a collaboration between Rothelowman and Studio Carter, working with a team of architects, designers, engineers and specialist consultants including town planner Urbis.

The architectural practices have developed a design vision for the masterplanned precinct that combines residential tower architecture with the carefully considered lifestyle, wellness, retail and dining offering integrated throughout the development.

The residential design positions apartments to capture ocean outlooks and views across the Gold Coast skyline, responding to the beachside location within the transforming North Surfers precinct.

Apartments are priced from $905,000, with the first tower expected to reach completion by late 2029.

The development has now surpassed $100 million in sales, with buyers attracted to what SPG Land describes as a premium luxury lifestyle precinct that integrates resort-style amenities with village atmosphere and coastal proximity.
